Prayer Ministry: G.A.P. – God Answers Prayer

Members and guests at SonRise are able to spend a few minutes in prayer with one of our G.A.P. Prayer Partners each Sunday morning.  Perhaps your child received healing after a recent illness, perhaps a friend is going through a difficult time, perhaps you are grieving the loss of a loved one, perhaps you are excited about starting a new job.  Prayer Partners will be available: in the front of the Sanctuary after the worship services.  Feel free to come over, sit down to share your request, and spend a few minutes having the G.A.P. Prayer Partner pray for you.  Anything you share will be kept confidential.

Or perhaps you’d rather have a more people pray for whatever needs or challenges you or your family are facing.  To add your name or that of a friend or family member to our prayer list, please call.  All prayer requests will be kept confidential by our prayer chain members.

CARE Ministry

CARE Ministry is a one-on-one care giving ministry here at SonRise.  Care Ministers are trained to aid a care receiver (someone going through a tough time) to more effectively deal with their own situations and to grow.

Sunday Serving

Acolytes

Children in Grades 3 through 8 serve as acolytes during our worship services.  If your child is in these grades, please talk to Pastor Bruce (320-356-9220 or PastorBruce@sonriseavon.org) about how they can serve.

Altar Guild

Members of our Altar Guild help prepare the altar area for worship each Sunday.  If you would like more information or would like to serve, please contact the church office (320-356-9220  or secretary@sonriseavon.org).

Coffee Ministry

Each Sunday, we offer coffee & juice between worship services in the Fellowship Hall.  If you would like to join our Coffee Ministry and help prepare, serve or clean-up, please call the church (320-356-9220 or secretary@sonriseavon.org).

Greeters

Welcoming those who worship with us is a fun way to meet people here at SonRise.  If you (families are welcome to serve together too!) would like to serve as a greeter before one of our worship services (8:00, 10:30 am), please call the church office (320-356-9220 or secretary@sonriseavon.org).

Music

Praising the Lord with songs & hymns is a key part of our ministry here at SonRise.  For more information on how you can be involved ~ singing or playing an instrument ~ please call or email our Music Director, Jeff Manthe 320-761-0715 or Jeff.m@sonriseavon.org).

Sound Board and Screens (AVTI Team)

Keeping us wired and onscreen on Sundays is a great way to be part of the worship team at SonRise.  Volunteers run our sound board and our PowerPoint slides with songs and scripture.  For more information on how you can get involved, please call the Randy Maile (320-845-4416 or randy@sonriseavon.org).

Ushers
